Curriculum

Course Types

Courses that are included in all master’s degree programs in Linguistics, regardless of specialization, are called core courses.

You must take all the core and required courses, and choose six elective courses.

The „Code” field in the curriculum tables below tells whether a course is core, required or elective. For example:

  • „CPR-C2” is a core course
  • „CPR-R1” is a required course
  • „CPR-E3.2” is an elective course.

The decimal number codes of the elective courses indicate available alternatives. For example, you should choose one CPR-E1.x course, one CPR-E2.x course, etc.

The code for the internship contains I:

  • „CPR-I1” stands for the internship (externships) in the second term.

Finally, there are also a number of credits provided for research activity. The code of these „courses” contains S. For example:

  • „CPR-S2” is a research paper you will write in the second term.
