NUST MISIS — Gold Medalist at iENA-2018

NUST MISIS took part in iENA-2018, the 70th International “Ideas-Inventions-New Products” Trade Fair, held from November 1st to November 4th, 2018, in Nuremberg (Germany). iENA is one of the world`s oldest major exhibitions of inventions and innovations, demonstrating the latest achievements in the fields of science and technology, as well as contributing to the development of various areas of international cooperation.

Around 800 developments from inventors from Russia and various European and Asian countries, including Germany, Austria, China, Poland, Croatia, Portugal, Iran, Lebanon, Iraq, Taiwan, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, etc., were presented at iENA-2018.

The NUST MISIS international committee selected three inventions to showcase at iENA as part of Project 5-100. All three developments walked away from the event with prizes and awards:

1. “Method of electrode production from alloys based on nickel aluminide”

— the Portuguese Association of Inventors and Innovators’ prize.

2. “Polymer composite with shape memory effect for 3D-printing medical products”

— iENA-2018 silver medal;

— the special prize and diploma of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Korea for the best development presented at iENA-2018.

3. “Method of drug preparation based on magnetic nanoparticles of iron oxide for MRI diagnosis of tumors”
