NUST MISIS and ASU Scientists to Launch Joint Projects in the Field of Semiconductors and Photovoltaics

On September 25th, 2017, NUST MISIS specialists in the fields of photovoltaics and semiconductors held a joint seminar with their colleges from ASU.

Professors William Petuskey, Stephen Goodnick, David Gilmer, Pavle Radovanovic, and Anatoli Korkin told their Russian colleagues about their research projects, as well as about ASU’s infrastructure. For the third year in a row, the University was highly ranked in the U.S. News&World Report ranking. ASU also occupies 1st place in the ranking for the attraction of international students. 102,000 students study at ASU—a number only for elective courses.

In 2016, NUST MISIS and ASU signed an agreement on the development of 10 joint scientific & educational projects. In September 2017 at NUST MISIS, an ASU team participated in the first international student hackathon. The organization of a joint research seminar aimed at experience exchange in the field of infrastructure development, as well as the development of collaboration in the fields of semiconductors and photovoltaics, have become the next steps in the universities’ cooperation.
