Individualization in Foreign Language Learning

Become a competent specialist in designing the educational process with consideration for learners’ individual differences: age‑related, personal, psychological, and cultural characteristics. On the Individualization in Foreign Language Learning track, you’ll study English and a second foreign language of your choice, along with foreign language teaching methodology. Thanks to the theory and methodology you acquire, in the future you’ll be able to become a teacher of two foreign languages and design an educational process effectively.

Duration of the program: 4 years. Full-time education in Russian.

In 2022, on the part of NUST MISIS, she is the organizer of a joint project with the Union Institute & University (USA) — Virtual Course Design Lab: Developing a Competency Framework for Online Course Design.

Written Translation in Science and Technology

A translator working in any technical field needs to understand the essence of production processes, the structure and purpose of equipment, and the properties of raw materials and substances. Full-time study in the Written Translation in Science and Technology track will enable you to become a specialist in both oral and written scientific‑technical translation. Upon completing a bachelor’s program in linguistics and translation studies, you’ll be able to navigate the structure of translation agencies, perform duties as an oral and written translator, and work as an editor. Your competitive edge will be your knowledge of translation automation technologies.

Duration of the program: 4 years. Full-time education in Russian.

Educational Management in Foreign Language Teaching

You’ll gain knowledge and skills in teaching foreign languages and develop managerial competencies in managing educational projects, programs, and teacher teams. On this track, you’ll study English and a second foreign language of your choice, along with pedagogical management and technologies. After graduating, you can become a unique expert in developing educational programs related to foreign language learning or launch your own educational startup.

Duration of the program: 4 years. Full-time education in Russian.

Conference Interpreting

The Conference Interpreting track will train you as a specialist in oral liaison interpreting with a focus on the metallurgical industry, B2B, and B2G communications. You’ll learn how to interpret orally between languages and master the speech etiquette needed to accompany clients. You’ll be eligible to work in translation agencies or translation departments in commercial or government organizations as intercultural communication specialists, oral interpreters, or tour-guide interpreters.

Duration of the program: 4 years. Full-time education in Russian.

Media Linguistics and Communication

The Media Linguistics and Communication track trains students to become specialists in internet marketing, social media, and the creation of advertising and creative materials. Students learn to produce media content, run media campaigns, and understand promotion technologies — encompassing brands, organizations, and personalities.

Duration of the program: 4 years. Full-time education in Russian.

International Business Communication

This track prepares specialists capable of launching cross‑cultural projects, collaborating with partners from different countries, and adapting communication strategies to cultural contexts. The educational program combines in-depth study of two foreign languages and communication. Students learn to understand business culture differences across countries, analyze cross-cultural landscapes, apply digital tools, and follow international business protocol and etiquette. Interdisciplinary projects, internships, and practices at leading companies in the real sector allow gaining work experience during studies and realizing your professional and personal potential.
