Candidate of Physical Sciences, Associate Professor of Cultural Studies

Curator of the Open Archive of Ukrainian Media Art, lecturer at the Rodchenko Art School, winner of the Innovation-2021 award, eco-activist, co-author of the Art Footprint Manifesto and co-organizer of the Art Footprint Conference. Author of the books “Cybernetics in Humanities and Arts in the USSR. Big Data Analysis and Computer Art” (Publishing Program of the Museum of Modern Art “Garage” and “Ukrainian Light-Music”).

Ildar Yakubov

Media artist and curator

A graduate of the Rodchenko Moscow School of Photography and Multimedia and the Strelka Institute for Media, Architecture and Design. Worked at MIT Media Lab and the University of New Mexico. Conducted workshops at UNM, Bronx Academy for Software Engineering and University of Nevada, Reno. Participant in a large number of Russian and international exhibitions and festivals.

Interdisciplinary artist, designer, senior lecturer at the Department of Computer Aided Design

Master’s degree in Digital Art from FEFU, graduate of VSCA in curating in digital space, author of video installations in theaters, participant of exhibitions, media festivals and virtual residencies. Winner of “Pixels Fest”, winner of re:Store digital art in the Unlock AR+ PRO category.

Other programs

Digital Production Materials and Technologies

Wide use of digital technologies in production and other areas of business generates new research and technical tasks. Our students learn to find universal solutions and create new products and tools: they program robots with computer vision, develop interactive stands and installations, create plastic materials from nettle, etc. The learning is based on practical approach, its main goal is to share most necessary skills in design, prototyping, programming and production. Our graduates are creative technical experts ready to face the challenges of the gradually changing world around. They are prepared to apply competencies from various fields to create and launch new high-tech products.

Equipment and Technology Engineering Management

The program targets preparation of professionals in production technologies to create and maintenance the equipment. Special emphasis is made on modern software to develop and design engineering processes and machines. During the program the students explore new production technologies including equipment and 3D printers for additive technologies, automation systems and the product quality control; study the tools and production development methods. They receive the experience in the creation and modification of equipment for metal production being part of teams working on industrial customer orders and R&D projects.
