NUST MISIS welcomes foreign citizens and compatriots living abroad for training each year, within the quota set by the Government of the Russian Federation.

State funding within the quota covers the full cost of education for the entire period, including the cost of training in the preparatory department for foreign citizens who do not speak Russian. Scholarship holders are provided with accommodation at prices set for students studying on budget places (currently, the cost ranges from 1,900 to 3,500 rubles per month, depending on the type of accommodation and living conditions), and a monthly academic scholarship is paid as well. All other expenses, such as travel, registration and translation of documents, obtaining and extending a study visa, insurance, meals, etc., are covered by the scholars at their own expense.

Within the framework of the government scholarship, admission to the following programs is available:

Taught in Russian:

  • Bachelor’s degree, specialty, basic higher education
  • Master’s degree, specialized higher education
  • Postgraduate studies

Taught in English:

It is also possible for winners and prize winners of the Open Doors Olympiad to enroll in free bachelor’s, master’s, and postgraduate programs. For more detailed information about the Olympiad and its conditions, please visit the website.
