Applicants may submit their application documents in one of the following ways: online, in person, or by postal mail.
Detailed instructions for online application submission will be published at a later date.
The Admissions Office operates from June 20 according to the following schedule:
Monday—Friday: 10:00 a.m. — 5:00 p.m.
Saturday: 10:00 a.m. — 2:00 p.m.
Required Application Documents
- аpplication for Admission addressed to the rector (generated automatically when documents are submitted);
- рassport;
- school certificate or higher education diploma with academic transcript (the document must be legalized according to the legislation of the Russian Federation);
- documents confirming compatriot status (if applicable): applicant’s birth certificate, one parent’s passport, and proof of permanent residence in the country of citizenship;
- copy of a valid visa (if applicable);
- consent to personal data processing (144.4 KB) (submitted together with the application);
- consent to public disclosure of personal data (235.8 KB) (submitted together with the application);
- documents confirming individual achievements (copies, if applicable);
- notarized Russian translations of the passport, certificate/diploma, transcript, and any other documents containing information not in Russian (translations may be completed at a Russian Consulate in your country);
- applicant photograph with the following requirements:
- file formats: jpeg, jpg, png, tif, bmp
- size: 3 × 4 cm
- resolution: at least 300 dpi
- color photo on a white background
- file size: no more than 20 MB
- photos taken with a smartphone are acceptable if resolution requirements are met;
- If special testing accommodations are required: an official document confirming disability or special educational needs valid on the date of submission. This document may be submitted together with the application or later, but no later than the final application deadline. If submitted after the application, accommodations will be provided for entrance examinations held after the document is received.
Application documents may be submitted as originals or as copies. Submission of originals is not mandatory at the application stage.

Applicants may submit their application and supporting documents to the MISIS University Admissions Office via postal services, including Russian Post or any international or domestic courier service.

Applicants are strongly advised to send documents via registered mail with delivery confirmation and an itemized list of contents.
Delivery confirmation and the itemized list serve as official proof of document receipt. The official date of submission is determined by the postal stamp of the receiving office.
Documents Required When Applying by Mail
Applicants submitting documents by post must include:
- signed Application for Admission addressed to the rector (completed personally by the applicant or by an authorized representative; the application template will be published on the website later);
- сolor scans of original documents:
- passport;
- school certificate or higher education diploma with academic transcript (the document must be legalized according to the legislation of the Russian Federation);
- documents confirming compatriot status (if applicable): applicant’s birth certificate, one parent’s passport, and proof of permanent residence in the country of citizenship;
- copy of a valid visa (if applicable);
- consent to personal data processing (144.4 KB);
- consent to public disclosure of personal data (235.8 KB);
- consent to Enrollment (17.6 KB) (submitted within the officially established deadlines);
- documents confirming individual achievements (if applicable);
- notarized Russian translations of the passport, certificate/diploma, transcript, and any other documents containing information not in Russian (translations may be completed at a Russian Consulate in your country);
- applicant photograph (meeting the requirements listed above);
- disability or special needs documentation (if applicable).
Application Procedure

- Print and sign the completed application;
- Send the required documents by postal mail to the Admissions Office.
The application must list at least one degree program (major). Applications that do not specify a program of study will be considered invalid.
