One-Semester or One-year Student Exchange Programs

This non-degree mobility program is offered to international students from our Partner Universities who intend to spend 1 or 2 semesters abroad as exchange students in the framework of bilateral cooperation agreements.

Student exchange program participants choose 1 academic program at NUST MISiS to attend lectures, seminars and practical training from the curricula provided for the exchange period.

Student exchange programs are open to both undergraduate and graduate students, and also for postgraduate students who would like to attend lectures and seminars.

At the end of the exchange period students will receive an Academic Transcript.

1 semester (minimum 4 months)

  • September — January
  • February — June

1 academic year (2 consecutive semesters, maximum 10 months starting from September only)


Depending on the provisions of the cooperation agreement between NUST MISiS and the exchange student’s Home University, Student exchange program participants could be provided with some of following benefits at MISiS:

  • Tuition fee waiver
  • Subsidized accommodation in one of the residence halls
  • Monthly scholarship

Applicants should consult with their home university International Office or Student Exchange Coordinator regarding the above mentioned possibilities.

Application Procedure

Applicants from Partner Universities should complete their application packages (see below) and submit it to their home university International Office or Student Exchange Coordinator.

After sending us an application, please always check that documents are delivered!

At the present time we DO NOT require original application documents to be sent by post.

Please note that students can be accepted for a full academic year exchange starting from September only! Students who come to MISiS in February can be accepted for 1 semester maximum.
