Inside Olin: Perspectives on Student-Centered Teaching and Learning

Dear teachers, we invite you to take part in the online sessions of Franklin W. Olin College of Engineering (Massachusetts). Olin College is currently one of the world’s leading universities in the field of engineering education.

In a series of 90-minute workshops, teachers will test the student-centered learning approach developed by Olin College. Within each session, Olin College teachers will share the secrets of designing the educational process and organizing project-based learning, as well as talk about the teaching methods of courses at Olin.

On February 17th, a seminar "Let’s get interdisciplinary: Developing and running “Six Microbes that Changed the World” will be held — a course at the interface of science and society by Rob Martello and Jean Huang.
