We invite students and staff to the open seminar by professor Akihisa Inoue, a world-leading material scientist and a pioneer in the development of bulk metallic glasses and advanced non-equilibrium materials.

The theme of the open seminar is “Development and industrialization of bulk metallic glasses”. It’s a unique opportunity for everyone interested in the implementation of scientific developments in the real sector: Akihisa Inoue will focus on his own experience of entering the industry with a new product.

Akihisa Inoue is a Japanese physicist who integrates metallurgy and microstructure in his studies. He is best known for his research on amorphous metals, also known as metallic glasses. The total number of citations for Akihisa Inoue’s papers has exceeded 14,000.

The professor is a head of the Advanced Energy Efficient Materials Laboratory at NUST MISIS.
