80’s Science Days at NUST MISIS. Abstract and video submission

On the Day of Russian Science, February 8, Science Days traditionally started at MISIS University, held for the 80th time. This is an annual series of conferences, competitions and popular science events for schoolchildren and students from all over Russia who are involved in or interested in science. The number of submitted abstracts exceeds 1000 annually, and the number of videos reaches up to 500.

Students and schoolchildren from all over Russia can participate. To take part, you need to submit abstracts of your research work.

Student abstracts are accepted in the following areas:

  • Biomedical Engineering
  • Mining Engineering
  • Information Technology
  • Materials Science
  • Metallurgy
  • Nanotechnology
  • Physics and Quantum Engineering
  • Economics and Management
  • Language and Communication

This year, postgraduate students of NUST MISIS in their 1st and 2nd years of study can also submit scientific abstracts. Their work is accepted in 11 scientific specialty groups:

  • Information Technology and Telecommunications
  • Mechanical Engineering
  • Earth and Environmental Sciences
  • Mineral Resources and Mining Sciences
  • Technosphere Safety
  • Physical Science
  • Chemical Science
  • Chemical Technology, Materials Science, Metallurgy
  • Economics
  • Electronics, Photonics, Instrumentation and Communications
  • Energy and Electrical Engineering

Student and postgraduate abstracts will be accepted until March 24.

All reviewed abstracts will be published in the Science Days abstracts collection, indexed in the Russian Index of Science Citation (RINC).

Also, the application for the competition of popular science videos called the XV Youth Prize in Science and Innovation is open.

To participate, create a short video about your scientific work or explain any phenomenon from a scientific perspective. Both individual and team videos are accepted.

Videos can be submitted until April 13.

The Science Days winners and finalists receive additional points for the admission to the bachelor, specialist and master programs at MISIS University, as well as monetary prizes. The announcement of the winners takes place in a festive atmosphere at the closing ceremony of Science Days.
