The Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation announces the launch of the All-Russian competition for international students “StudRussia”. The competition is aimed at supporting talented international students who have significant achievements in science, creativity, sports, public activity, and volunteering.

Organizers: MISIS University, with the support of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation.

The competition is designed to create opportunities for the professional and creative self-realization of international students, to develop their leadership skills, and to showcase their achievements in various areas. It is held in two languages — Russian and English — so that each participant can comfortably present their accomplishments in the language they are more confident in.

Competition categories:

  • “Generation Leader” — for active students engaged in youth policy development;
  • “Summit Conquerors” — for athletes who have achieved success in competitions;

  • “Russian Language and Culture” — for those who promote the Russian language and culture.

Who can participate: international students enrolled at Russian universities, aged 18 to 30, who are studying in bachelor’s programs (from the 2nd year), specialist programs, master’s programs, postgraduate or residency programs.

Applications are accepted until September 14, 2025 on the official competition website. To participate, students must fill out an application form, submit a portfolio of achievements, and write a motivation letter.

Competition stages:

  • preliminary stage (August 28 — September 21, 2025): application submission and materials evaluation;
