Applications are now open for the international project Russian Nuclear Education Ambassadors, uniting talented foreign students from all over the world, including from Asia, Africa, the Middle East, and CIS countries. This is a community of young leaders studying in nuclear and related fields, ready to share knowledge, experience, and energy to promote best practices of Russian specialized education and innovative achievements in the nuclear industry and beyond it.
This is a unique opportunity to become part of a global youth scientific association of like-minded people. The project is organized by students for students and aims to popularize engineering and technical specialties among the youth, develop nuclear technologies, and support high school students who wish to pursue studies in this direction.
Successful candidates will have the chance to attend international events such as the IYNC, World Youth Festival, International Forum ATOMEXPO, International Young Nuclear Forum Obninsk NEW, and other significant platforms where they can act as experts, speakers, moderators, content creators and new-generation leaders, sharing their personal experiences of studying at Russian universities. Within the framework of the project, ambassadors gain opportunities to meet world-class experts, demonstrate analytical, communication, and presentation skills, acquire new knowledge and abilities to promote their own initiatives, and set an example for future generations.
Future ambassadors are expected to share their personal experience of applying to universities in Russia and studying in nuclear specializations, popularize applications of nuclear energy, nuclear medicine, and modern nuclear technologies as well as assist foreign youth in choosing a suitable university in Russia and enrolling in educational programs that interest them.
- Students of Rosatom partner universities meeting the aforementioned profile are invited to fill out the registration form through October 20, 2025, and join the Telegram group — Aspiring Ambassadors.
- Afterwards, candidates will need to complete a performance evaluation assignment. Based on its results, successful candidates will be invited to the second stage — a face-to-face or online interview.
Aspiring ambassadors must show high academic performance, success in implementing educational projects, and an active presence on social media. They will join a unique team of young professionals and serve as true guides into the world of science for those considering career paths and professional development opportunities in the nuclear field!
