The legendary Winter School of NUST MISIS “Materials and Technologies” is dedicated to materials science and technology of materials.
NUST MISIS is a recognized leader in the training of specialists of this profile not only in Russia, but all over the world. Materials science programs are offered at the University MISIS at all education levels — undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate.
The Winter School education program is provided in English and takes place at the University campus in the center of Moscow. The participants will live in comfortable dormitories on the Campus, located near the academic buildings.
The “Materials and Technologies” Winter School will be held from 10 January to 21 January 2025. The program is open for students who have completed at least 2 years of a undergraduate course, as well as master’s degree students interested in materials science, inorganic and physical chemistry. The tuition fee is $500 per person and includes: an educational intensive course, familiarisation with the Russian language and culture, educational materials, and an exciting excursion program. The cost of accommodation is $100 and includes living in the best student dormitory in Russia according to the results of the nationwide review competition in 2016.
The Winter School curriculum offers courses on materials and technologies for solar energy, biomaterials, IT technologies in materials science, and the study of materials and technologies for digital design and 3D printing. Participants of the “Materials and Technologies” Winter School will receive certificates of one of the most prestigious universities in the Russian Federation.
