The international and interregional socio-cultural program BRICS People Choose Life was launched in India in 2022 and brought together more than 2,000 students from leading Indian universities, colleges and schools.
The Russian stage of the program will take place in the year of Russia’s BRICS presidency in 2024 in five Russian regions: Moscow, Moscow region, Tver region, Samara region and the Altai Krai.
Among the projects of the cultural and educational track of the Russian stage are the competition for the creation of the anthem of the BRICS people and the scientific and educational project BRICS People for Cybersecurity, including round tables on cybersecurity in leading universities of five regions.
The project will draw the attention of the youth of the BRICS countries to such problems in the global digital world as ensuring equal rights for all states to participate in the management of the Internet, international inequality at the present stage in the information space and methods for increasing the digital potential of developing countries, global challenges and threats of modern Internet space, new generation hybrid warfare, deepfakes as a method of distorting information, artificial intelligence in the international dimension and others. The first round table will be held on June 25, 2024 at Tver State University.
