The Laboratory of Multifunctional Magnetic Nanomaterials was established in 2020 at the Department of Physical Materials Science at NUST MISIS. Within the framework of NUST MISIS state assignment for
Laboratory activities
The laboratory was created for development of a new scientific direction aimed at creation of nanosized and nanostructured magnetic materials and laboratory technologies of their production for application in high-tech sectors of economy, including biomedicine, aerospace complex, micro- and nanoelectronics.
The main activities of the laboratory are:
- fundamental research aimed at developing new nanosized and nanostructured magnetic materials based on oxides, nitrides, etc., as well as hard magnetic phases, including functionalized ones, and laboratory technologies for their production for application in high-tech sectors of the economy;
- training of specialists, bachelors, masters and postgraduates of NUST MISIS, improvement of training quality;
- training, retraining and advanced training of specialists of research and production organizations;
- improving the quality of research activities in cooperation with partner organizations and other structural units of NUST MISIS.
