In the course of the training in Power and Electrical Engineering you will learn how to manage energy resources of the enterprise and become a sought-after specialist in a new, promising field of energy management. After completing your studies, you will be able to work in the field of protecting the planet’s ecology from harmful emissions. Your competences will help to improve the energy efficiency of enterprises (primarily in the mineral resources industry), and thus make them more competitive.

Department of Energy and Energy Efficiency of the Mining Industry has been developing energy resource management projects for corporations and governments for 86 years. For the last 20 years, it has been providing corporate training for major Russian and foreign companies. The developments of our scientists have been implemented at 13 large enterprises. The program in Power and Electrical Engineering is unique as you will gain knowledge created within the walls of our university and become a sought-after specialist on the labor market. You will learn to develop software and analytical complexes for energy management, implement energy management systems, conduct consulting and engineering of such systems.
