Attestation Interim (Semester) Attestation of Postgraduates

The interim attestation for students taking NUST MISiS postgraduate programs is conducted twice a year: from January 9 until January 31 (winter attestation) and from June 1 until June 30 (summer attestation). Each attestation is performed in two stages:

1. Stage one — attestation at the level of the department (for each attestation)

A postgraduate student submits his/her progress report and (jointly with his/her academic advisor) drafts a departmental decision on attestation for the current academic session; upon successful attestation, the student submits his/her attestation sheet and individual curriculum for the next academic session signed by the academic advisor and head of department for attestation at the level of the institute.

2. Stage two — attestation at the level of the institute (for each attestation)

A postgraduate student submits documents to the Science and Technology Council of the institute and, upon successful attestation, files the same for approval by the director of the institute.

Upon the interim attestation, a postgraduate student may be “attested”, “conditionally attested” in case of adjourning attestation for cause (scholarship accrued) or “not attested”. Those who fail to pass the interim attestation in terms of grasping academic courses are entitled to repeat failed tests/exams, but not more than two times. If the “conditional attestation” determination is preserved at the next attestation, the student is expelled from NUST MISiS.

Successfully passing the attestation means (provided that all the requirements are met):
