Project #ArtMISIS for International Students

NUST MISIS is launching project #ArtMISIS, designed to help international students learn Russian culture and get to know more about Moscow.

During their winter break, African and Middle Eastern students from NUST MISIS`s 9 international Master`s degree programs visited the Tretyakov Gallery, the Cathedral of Christ the Savior, and Park MUZEON. The students were immersed in Russian culture, taking in over 500 years of history.

“Through #ArtMISIS we visited the Tretyakov Gallery, which opened Russia and Russian culture to me more than ever before. I have been studying in Moscow for about 6 months already, but mostly I spent my time studying or in research labs. The Russian mentality was a mystery to me. The art there pulled back the curtain of the rich and boundless cultural and historical heritage of the Russian people. I am so happy to have such an opportunity to study in one of Russia`s best universities”, said Junaid Alam (Pakistan), 1st year Master`s degree student at NUST MISIS.

NUST MISIS’s Office of International Academic Mobility organized the project with the support of the NUST MISIS Endowment Fund.
