NUST MISIS Hosts the African Student Union Day

For the second time, NUST MISIS hosted the African Student Union Day, which has become another heart-warming tradition of the NUST MISIS International Friendship Club.

The event was attended by representatives of African countries from different universities in Moscow as well as guests from African embassies in Moscow.

The evening included a varied program: bright dances, poignant songs, jokes, the demonstration of traditional African attire, a quiz on African geography, a parade of African flags, and some poetry. The new leadership of the executive committee was officially announced, as the students who have been leading the Union for the past 2 years are finishing their Master`s degrees this summer.

Students from 69 countries study at NUST MISIS. 136 students from African countries, as well as young scientists from Tunisia and Egypt, are among them. The African Student Union helps these students to adapt and integrate into the new environment. The Center for Academic Achievement, and language, sport, and music clubs operate through the Union.
