On November 22nd, 2018, the representative office of the Arkhangelsk Oblast of the Russian Government held an extended meeting with the heads of leading universities in Moscow and representatives of Arkhangelsk`s largest industrial enterprises. Variants of cooperation between Moscow universities and Arkhangelsk regional enterprises were discussed at the meeting.
Vitaly Suchkov, Head of the Department of National Policy and Interregional Relations of Moscow, suggested establishing direct interaction between enterprises from the Arkhangelsk region and Moscow-based universities so students can have internships in companies like Pomorye, or can develop science projects based on real industrial practice with employment at a leading enterprise following graduation.
At the end of the meeting, all parties signed a cooperation agreement between NUST MISIS and the Arkhangelsk regional government.
