From November 21st to 23rd, 2018, “Studying is our Choice”, the all-Russian competition for student projects on improving the quality of education, was held in Izhevsk. The NUST MISIS “Open Rectorate” project took 2nd place in the “Best Project” nomination, and Gleb Uzunov, head of the NUST MISIS Student Council, took 1st place in the “Best Leader” nomination.
More than 70 applications from 16 Russian cities (Moscow, Saint Petersburg, Perm, Surgut, Novosibirsk, Kazan, Izhevsk) were submitted to be considered in the competition.
Anastasiya Chikalyova (chairman of the NUST MISIS College of Economics and the Industrial Management Student Council), Anton Demidov (chairman of the NUST MISIS College of IT & Automated Control Systems) and Gleb Uzunov (head of the NUST MISIS Student Council) represented the University in Izhevsk.

Gleb Uzunov also won, taking gold in the “Best leader of student councils on the quality of education” nomination.
