The international platform Study Abroad Aide has published a ranking of the best universities for international students. NUST MISIS ranked 6th among 329 Russian universities and 506th globally among 8,536 institutions.
The ranking includes universities from 82 countries. Several factors influence a university’s position in the ranking:
- Academic reputation. This is assessed based on the university’s position in global rankings such as Times Higher Education, World University Rankings, QS World University Rankings and U.S. News & World Report Best Colleges.
- Total number of students. This reflects the quality of the university, as prestigious and reputable institutions initially attract students.
- Number of international students.
To compile the list, experts at Study Abroad Aide gather information only from English-language pages of official government and university websites. Indicators include the completeness of information, university location, admissions page, tuition fees, required English language test scores, and courses for obtaining bachelor’s and master’s degrees.
