On December 1, NUST MISIS launched an International creative design competition named after academician A.A. Bochvar for those entering the Master’s programs. The final year students or people with higher education from any country of the world can take part by providing a project in Russian or English. The winners receive 100 points for an exam in their major, which gives them the right to enroll in a Master’s program at NUST MISIS without exams. All non-resident students are provided with accommodation in the dormitory.
NUST MISIS conducts the International creative design competition named after academician A.A. Bochvar in technical and humanitarian specialties. To participate, one must submit a semester or term paper, a popular science article or research in Russian or English — depending on the subject that the participant has chosen.
The competition is divided into two stages: selection and the final, where participants personally defend their work. The presentations are held online. The works of the participants are assessed according to several criteria: significance, literacy and consistency of presentation, etc.
The winners receive 100 points for entrance examinations, which gives them the right to enter the NUST MISIS master’s program without exams. The winners can submit their results as exam results while applying to the university.
Last year, more than 400 students from 8 countries applied for the competition. Since 2016, more than 3 thousand people have taken part in the creative design competition named after academician A.A. Bochvar.
You can submit your project until April 30, 2022. The defenses will take place on May 28. More information about the competition can be found on the website.
