Russia`s First Corda Meetup to Take Place at NUST MISIS Blockchain-Commune

On November 14th, 2017, Russia`s first Corda Meetup, organized by R3, the international blockchain-consortium and through support of the Ассenture & Fintech Lab, will take place at the NUST MISIS blockchain-commune.

The R3 blockchain-consortium representatives will present the Corda solution — a platform for the management of financial obligations between different financial institutions. The platform will also review the basics of decentralized applications and will demonstrate the work of real commercial projects.

The international consortium of financial companies for blockchain technology’s application development in the R3 financial system was established in 2015. R3 consists of around 100 banks, regulators, and financial companies, including UBS Group, Deutsche Bank, and Barclays. The organization’s main aims are to study and develop blockchain technologies for the financial industry. R3 is the developer of the Corda blockchain-platform.

R3`s Russian office was opened in Autumn 2017 based on the Fintech Lab accelerator.

The meeting will be held on November 14th, 2017, 1:30 p.m.
