NUST MISIS is launching a new English-taught Master’s program in UX/UI Design. Students will learn to create ergonomic digital products tailored to user needs. Graduates will have employment opportunities with partner IT companies and design studios such as Yandex, Mail.ru Group, Sberbank, Paratype, SXILL, and others.

A key feature of the program is an in-depth focus on typography. Students will study font development and its integration into various aspects of design, including branding and universal design concepts. The curriculum addresses current industry demands, covering global UX/UI trends, user behavior, mobile and responsive design approaches, Linux system integration, and inclusive design. Additionally, students will learn to create display and custom typefaces for unique brand solutions.
The educational program combines design, technology, and user behavior research. Its interdisciplinary approach will help students develop both creative and technical skills in tools like Figma, InkScape, Sketch, Krita, Lunacy, and others. The Department of Automated Design and Engineering Graphics at NUST MISIS provides access to VR equipment, specialized graphic workstations, and 3D prototyping devices.
Key subjects include: “Introduction to UX/UI Design”, “Basics of Visual Design”, “Advanced Typeface Design”, “Designing for Mobile Devices”, “Cultural Aspects in User Scenario Design”, “Product Market Adaptation”, “Advanced Prototyping and Testing”, and more.
Upon graduation, specialists will be qualified for roles such as UX/UI designer, product designer, information architect, front-end developer, and design system manager across digital interface design industries including devices, video broadcasting, animation, and more.
