SCIENTIFIC AND EDUCATIONAL CENTER OF NANOMATERIALS AND NANOTECHNOLOGIES

Basic Information about the Center
The center was set up pursuant to order of the rector of the State Technological University MISiS dated October 22, 2007 No. 389 о.v.

The primary purpose of the center is to combine efforts for creating the system of effectively using the scientific, educational and innovative potential of NUST MISiS in the area of nanomaterials and nanotechnologies.

Activity of the Center
The primary focus of the Center is as follows:

• development and implementation of research, innovative activity and educational programs (master’s degree, postgraduate, etc.), including those ordered by employers, in the area of nanomaterials and nanotechnologies;
• contribution to prioritizing the fields of developing the science-based sector of economy thanks to studying and classifying data regarding the scientific and innovative potential of NUST MISiS and other organizations in the sphere of nanomaterials and nanotechnologies;
• participation in marketing surveys in the area of nanomaterials and nanotechnologies, statistical and analytical processing of information, and
• international cooperation (jointly with other divisions of NUST MISiS) in the area of scientific and innovative activity, development of business collaboration.
