Education at the College of Computer Sciences
The College of Computer Sciences educates over 2,500 graduate and undergraduate students and prepares doctoral candidates. The college’s teaching approach grants students and doctoral candidates access to leading vendor technologies. Several academies operate within NUST MISIS, offering training for certified professionals in information and communication technologies, data transmission technologies, Data Science, Machine Learning, and Big Data.
From the first year, students participate in team programming competitions, hackathons for digitalisation, and scientific research. The university’s structure includes a Center for Technological Competitions and Olympiads, aiding student teams in successful international and Russian IT competitions.
Students undertake internships at leading domestic and foreign enterprises, working on major projects for market-leading companies. College graduates successfully tackle applied tasks in production and business, holding positions as managers and developers and conducting scientific research in the field of Computer Science.
