The insurance provider will refer you to a medical center to complete these procedures. Medical certificates for dormitories under the voluntary health insurance scheme are issued within
5-7 days. - After checking into the dormitory, please register for migration.
How to check in at a dorm?
On working days (Monday to Friday) and during the hours
You will need:
- a passport and its photocopy;
- a voluntary health insurance plan;
- a health certificate (called Form
086-U) issued by licensed medical institutions subordinate to the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation stating the absence of contraindications for living in a dormitory with a mandatory note on the passing of fluorography, the absence of infectious diseases (tuberculosis, HIV, Hepatitis B); - a certificate of vaccinations including a measles vaccination which is mandatory for international students. If you have not received it prior to arrival, it will be administered in Russia;
- the accommodation agreement drawn up on the territory of the dormitory. The cost for 1 month ranges from 4,974 to 6,604 rubles, depending on the residential address. When moving into a dormitory, you must have funds to pay for accommodation (in accordance with the established rates) for
2-3 months of stay.
At the time of health certificates issuing, you need to arrange accommodation on your own. We recommend planning for about 7 days of hotel stay while your medical documents are being processed. You can consider staying in one of the following hotels (with good accommodation conditions and, most importantly, with the possibility of further registration for migration):
- CHEERS on Arbat;
- Academicheskaya;
- Winterfell Hotel chain (throughout Moscow, the nearest one on Novokuznetskaya Street).
