MISIS University has signed a cooperation agreement with the Indian Institute of Information Technology Dharwad (IIIT Dharwad). The primary focus of the partnership will be the development of student exchange programs in UX/UI design, based at the Department of Computer-Aided Design and Engineering at MISIS and the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at IIIT Dharwad.

IIIT Dharwad is an institute of national importance in India, specializing in the training of professionals in information technology, artificial intelligence, data analytics, and digital engineering. It is developing as a modern center for engineering education and applied research, addressing the needs of the digital economy. Its academic programs cover computer science, electronics and communications, and also include training in Data Science, AI, and digital design.
“The signing of this agreement marks an important step in the development of international cooperation at MISIS. We highly value our partnership with IIIT Dharwad and see significant potential for joint work in digital technologies, education, and research,” said Andrey Voronin, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs at MISIS.
The agreement lays the groundwork for joint educational and research initiatives, as well as for strengthening academic ties between Russia and India. The establishment of this cooperation was supported by the Embassy of the Republic of India in the Russian Federation.
