On June 1st, 2016, for the very first time, NUST MISIS hosted a meeting with a delegation from the leading higher education institute in Iran, K. N. Toosi University of Technology. The parties gathered to discuss a direction of cooperation between the two universities.
The main programs of scientific and educational activities at the Iranian university are industrial engineering, materials science, IT, bioengineering, and mechatronics.
NUST MISIS presented its educational programs’ main directives, highlighting materials science, nanotechnology, and electronics, as well as the university`s key scientific laboratories and research centers.
Following the meeting the parties signed a Memorandum on Cooperation. In September 2016, in accordance with the signed Memorandum, a pilot visit aimed at training students from K. N. Toosi University of Technology in NUST MISIS’s English language Master`s programs in engineering is planned.
