NUST MISIS Team Wins All-Russian Student Olympiad

A NUST MISIS team took first place in a recent all-Russian student Olympiad on the fundamentals of health and safety. The Olympiad was in the middle of April at Bauman Moscow State Technical University.

The Olympiad was held through the patronage of the Russian Ministry of Education and Science. This year, 47 students forming 14 teams from 10 cities (Moscow, Saint Petersburg, Chelyabinsk, Murmansk, Novosibirsk, Belgorod, Rostov-on-Don, Kaluga, Yekaterinburg, Samara) participated in the Olympiad.

Professor Evgeny Pototsky, the head of NUST MISIS’s team, noted this diverse representation was unprecedented. In individual classifications, Ksenia Nokhrina took 2nd place and Alla Popova took 3rd.
