NUST MISIS and LG Electronic Inc. have signed a memorandum of cooperation that aims to exchange technological & scientific information, as well as to develop cooperation and business relations on a mutually beneficial basis.
The document was signed during LG Electronic`s management visit, headed by the company`s Vice-President, Mr. Chong Soo Lee. Mikhail Filonov, the Vice-Rector of Research and Development, signed the document on behalf of NUST MISIS.
The Memorandum states that the parties have the right “to conduct joint research and implement events for the development of the research&production field with the use of advanced technologies, as well as to use R&D objects and share technological & business information, hold seminars, and provide technical consulting services, etc.”
Also, LG Electronics management was shown the results of recent developments by NUST MISIS scientists, promising new research topics in the fields of light, high entropy, & magnesium alloys, and anti-corrosion antiwear decorative coatings.
In particular, Mr. Chong Soo Lee has agreed on the company`s participation in events organized by NUST MISIS, which will be held at the stand of the Ministry of Education and Science during the 2017 Seoul International Invention Fair.
