NUST MISIS Graduate Student Wins International “1C” Contest

Artyom Kozlov, a 1st year graduate student at NUST MISIS, has won the grand prize of „1C’s” XX International Contest for Diploma Papers. Artyom presented his project on „The development of a matrix mechanism for the distribution of project tasks on the basis of 1C: document management for the Innovative Solutions Laboratory”. Olga Fomicheva, a PhD in Technical Sciences and a senior lecturer at the NUST MISIS Department for Automated Control Systems (NUST MISIS College of IT & Automated Control Systems), heads the project.

The „1С” contest occurred in several stages, beginning with regional rounds held in every Russian region as well as in Kazakhstan and Belarus, and leading up to Federal Districts and the contest`s final stage. 314 projects were presented during the contest.

Artyom`s project won the contest`s Central Federal District stage and then also won the final stage in „The best diploma project” nomination. According to Olga Fomicheva, Artyom will continue his work on this topic and his project will become the basis of his master`s degree thesis.
