NUST MISIS Developments Included in “100 Best Inventions of Russia”

On April 26th, 2018, Rospatent published its annual ranking of the “100 Best Inventions of Russia”. A group of independent experts selected 100 inventions from the 34,000 patents given out in Russia in 2017.

Two inventions from NUST MISIS scientists were included in 2017’s TOP-100:

— “Method of electrode production from alloys based on nickel aluminide”

(Authors: Levashov E.A., Pogozhev Y. S., Sentyurina Zh. A., Zaytsev A.A., Sanin V.N., Yukhvid V.E., Andreev D.E., Ikornikov D.M.);

— “Heat-resistant fabric made of polymer fabrics and products made of this fabric”

(Authors: Tarasov V.P., Krivolapova O.N., Kozlov I. G., Ivanyus N.V., Borodin S.V.).

The ranking’s publication is timed to coincide with the celebration of World Intellectual Property Day, which is celebrated on April 26th. April 26th, 1970 was the founding of the International Convention for the Protection of Intellectual Property.
