As part of the cooperative expansion with Uzbekistan, NUST MISIS is opening a new branch of the university in Almalyk.
In the 2018-2019 academic year, students who will study “Mining”, “Metallurgy”, and “Automatization & management of technological processes and production” will be eligible to enroll. The educational process will follow the curricula and programs approved by NUST MISIS, while accounting for Uzbekistan’s educational standard requirements. With the opening of the Almalyk branch, NUST MISIS will have six branches—including two abroad—and will become just the 4th Russian University to open a branch in Uzbekistan.
