On October 12, 2018, NUST MISIS and Alanya Alaaddin Keykubat University (Alanya, Turkey) signed an agreement on scientific and educational cooperation. This will give an opportunity to students and professors of both universities to participate in international exchange programs, joint projects, scientific seminars and conferences in the fields of metallurgy, materials science, business and tourism.
Alanya Alaaddin Keykubat University (ALKU) is a Turkish university founded in 2015. The University specializes in four global areas: business, technology, medicine, and education. Today, about 7,000 students from almost 40 countries study at ALKU.
Joint undergraduate, graduate, and PhD academic programs will be created as part of the signed agreement. A common Master`s degree program will be created in the future as well.
“I am sure that cooperation with NUST MISIS will benefit both the students and academic staff of our university. The signing of this agreement was an important achievement for our University and for the city of Alanya”, said Ahmet Pinarbasi, Rector of ALKU.
Professor Alexandr Kochetov, a Doctor of Technical Sciences from the NUST MISIS Department of Steel Metallurgy, New Production Technologies, & the Protection of Metals will be heading the project on the part of NUST MISIS.
