Students of Language and Communication receive a broad qualification in intercultural communication and, at the same time, develop a focused professional profile in one of three in-demand areas: international public relations, digital language education or regional and tourism studies. This structure allows students to deepen their expertise in the field that best matches their academic interests and career goals.
Students choose one of the following tracks at the beginning of their studies:
Communications and International Public Relations
This track prepares specialists in strategic communication for high-tech industries and the global market. Students learn how to design and manage communication strategies for technology startups, research institutes and large international companies.
A key advantage of this track is immersion in science-driven and knowledge-intensive industries — a distinctive feature of studying communications at a technological university. Learning is based on real projects, ranging from communication audits and media content production to full-scale strategic campaigns. The program includes guest lectures by industry experts, visits to corporate communication departments and internship opportunities.
Studying in English within multicultural student groups develops strong skills for working in global professional environments.
Second Language Teaching and Pedagogical Design in Digital Environments
This track focuses on training educational designers and EdTech specialists who combine expertise in linguistics, teaching methodology and digital content development.
Its key feature is a practice-oriented approach: from the first semester, students work on the creation of a real online course in English commissioned by partner organisations (including EdTech companies, language schools and universities). This project becomes the core element of the graduate’s professional portfolio and significantly increases employability.
Graduates work as educational technology experts, instructional designers, corporate trainers or curriculum developers.
Intercultural Communication and International Tourism
This track prepares specialists for the development and promotion of international tourism and cultural projects, with a focus on territorial development and intercultural interaction.
The track offers an interdisciplinary approach combining linguistics, cultural semiotics, regional studies and marketing. Students learn how to analyse the recreational and cultural potential of territories, design tourism products and promote regions and cultural initiatives on the global market.
The program is practice-oriented and includes research projects and collaboration with industry partners. Graduates pursue careers in tourism management, consulting and intercultural communication.
