Industrial Design, Digital Manufacturing and Reengineering Technologies

A specialist in the field of Innovation Engineering is engaged in the creation of advanced products and their technical support for knowledge-intensive industrial production. As part of the Specialized Higher Education program, students research equipment of different profiles and develop machines with a wide range of applications from, mining and metallurgical complexes to processing human waste, growing plants in the Far North and creating exoskeletons. Students also study VR/AR technologies, reverse engineering, and gain additional knowledge in mechatronics. Graduates of the program possess a holistic understanding of the innovative product creating process, from idea generation and its implementation to thorough monitoring of operation, analysis of possible operational risks, based on the technical and economic capabilities of the manufacturer.
