Sports Complexes

Practical physical education classes take place in three sports complexes located at:

  • 6 Leninsky Prospekt, Building 7
  • 6 Leninsky Prospekt, Building 4 (boxing)
  • 83b Profsoyuznaya Street

The sports facilities include two game halls, two gyms, a boxing hall, two general fitness halls, a swimming pool, and an aerobics studio — everything you need to stay active, strong, and motivated throughout your studies.

Most sports disciplines are supervised by the Department of Physical Education and Health. This academic unit is responsible for delivering physical education and sports courses, as well as conducting research, developing teaching methods, and promoting student development through sport.

The university also has a Training and Sports Center dedicated to boxing. The Center trains students of all majors in the Boxing specialization, organizes training sessions for the university boxing team preparing for competitions, and runs beginner groups for those new to the sport.

The Center employs six staff members, among them two Honored Boxing Coaches of Russia. Since 2023, the Center has launched a special training series with famous alumni — boxing champions and members of the MISIS varsity team — giving students a chance to learn from the best.

To join a sports club, international students can simply come to the first training session according to the schedule. In addition, general tryouts for sports clubs and varsity teams are held twice a year — in September and January.

Students from the Preparatory Courses are also welcome to try out and take part in sports selections.
