UESTC is a participant in China’s national Double First Class initiative aimed at developing the country’s leading universities.

Upon successful completion of the program, graduates will receive a Master’s degree from NUST MISIS. Students will also have the opportunity to obtain a degree from the Chinese partner university.

The project has received support from the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China. The program is the result of extensive collaboration between the two universities and marks an important step in strengthening educational cooperation between the two countries. The new Master’s program will expand opportunities for training highly qualified specialists in materials science and create additional conditions for international academic exchange.

The launch of the program aligns with the objectives of the Russia—China Years of Education, which aim to promote academic mobility, develop joint educational initiatives, and strengthen cooperation between the two nations.
