NUST MISIS Demonstrates Its Possibilities at APAIE-2017

NUST MISIS participates in the largest educational forum of the Asia-Pacific Region.

NUST MISIS participated in the 12th Annual APAIE Conference opened on March 20th, 2017, in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. It is the key professional event in the Asia-Pacific region, and it attracts specialists of higher education from around the world.

“There are only three forums of such a high level in the world: APAIE (Asia-Pacific), EAIE (Europe) and NAFSA (USA)”, — said Vasif Farajov, NUST MISIIS representative at the exhibition.

In 2016, the APAIE conference, held in Melbourne, attracted 1600 delegates from 47 countries, which was an attendance record for the conference’s history. In 2017, according to preliminary data, this year’s number should exceed last year’s. Representatives of higher education will discuss issues in the fields of research activity and educational mobility, and outline current trends and the prospects of cooperation.

Similar to last year, NUST MISIS was represented at the event together with other university-participants of Project 5-100. Additionally, on March 22nd, the Project 5-100 session on international education in Russia, and the potential of both Russian universities in terms of institutional partnerships as well as joint research with Asia-Pacific Region universities, will be discussed and analyzed.

“NUST MISIS got an excellent opportunity to promote its brand and increase its awareness in the region”, said Alexander Ivannikov, another NUST MISIS representative at the exhibition.
