NUST MISIS has entered the top-5 among Russia universities in the QS Graduate Employability Rankings, which is designed to improve the quality of analyses about the links between university practices and graduate employability. NUST MISIS is featured in the 201+ band.
The QS Graduate Employability Rankings is a newer publication, launching in 2015 with its pilot ranking. According to the ranking representatives, the methodology has been enhanced and an additional 100 universities were ranked this year. Seven Russian universities are present in the ranking.
In the QS Graduate Employability Rankings composition not only are statistics of higher education institutions taken into account, but also the opinion of employers. The aim of the ranking is to show the links between university practices and graduate employability. Their performance in this direction is evaluated according to the following five criteria:
— employer reputation;
— partnership with employers;
— alumni outcomes;
— employers` presence on campus;
— graduate employment rate.
Among Russian universities in the ranking, NUST MISIS ranked first place in the “Organization of interaction between employers and students” indicator. The university earned the maximum, 100 out of 100 possible points. Only seven universities in the world received the same measure, among them the California Institute of Technology and Arizona State University.
