The scientific and technical library of MISIS University was founded in 1930. Our library is considered the central information resource for Metallurgy and Materials Science in Russia. The library collection consists of 1.35 million print items. The science collection comprises over 700 000 volumes. Also, a significant part of the library collection (about 400 000 items) consists of educational literature, which provides support for university programs.
The library has two reading rooms: the reading room of scientific and electronic publications with 50 seats for readers and the scientific reading room of the College of Mining.

Library Access
All students and postgraduates are automatically registered in the library upon enrollment at the university. To use the library, library services and resources you can present a university pass, a student ID card or a library card.
