NUST MISIS has significantly strengthened its positions in the Webometrics Ranking of World Universities, rising 529 positions. Only four Russian universities participating in Project
This is the second year in a row that NUST MISIS has considerably risen in the Webometrics Ranking of World Universities, which is developed by the highly regarded Spanish research group Cybermetrics Lab. In 2015 the university moved up 256 positions, and this year — by 529. In the world ranking of universities NUST MISIS is 1443rd and 15th among Russian universities in the ranking.
As of late, NUST MISIS has shown considerable growth in world academic rankings. Accordingly, in July 2016, the university improved its position in the QS BRICS Ranking, rising 87 positions. Likewise, in June 2016, NUST MISIS moved up from 75th to 63rd in the QS EECA Ranking showing the best rate of growth among Russian universities.
