NUST MISIS conducts systematic work on the attraction and development of ambitious and motivated young people focusing on technical specialties. Hosting Olympiads for those students to test their abilities is part of the development cycle.
NUST MISIS has entered the TOP-15 of Russian universities in terms of salaries for graduates working in the field of IT, taking 14th place in a ranking compiled by the Superjob research center. The ranking factors all young professionals who’ve graduated from university in the past 5 years.
NUST MISIS has significantly improved its position in the Times Higher Education (THE) Emerging Economies University Rankings, rising from 163rd to 99th. The University has shown excellent results despite increasing competition: in 2014, representatives of 20 different countries participated in the ranking, but in 2018 that number increased to 50.
