NUST MISIS Signed an Agreement with University of Aveiro, Portugal

A student exchange protocol was signed during the roundtable attended by scientists representing NUST MISIS and University of Aveiro on March 3, 2015. According to the Times Higher Education (THE) Rankings, University of Aveiro was recognized as best institution of higher education in Portugal in 2011.

University of Aveiro is famous for its department of electronics; its collaboration with NUST MISIS started in 2014 when Nikolai Sobolev, professor of Department of Physics, University of Aveiro, and Institute of Nanostructures, Nanomodelling and Nanofabrication delivered a series of lectures in Moscow having received the NUST MISIS grant to support the scientific research and lecture activities.

Academic student exchange is the first stage in the above protocol implementation. Joint scientific projects and research, postdoc exchange, participation of Portuguese colleagues in the laboratory research and the implementation of large international projects are also on the upcoming agenda.
