On July 9th & 10th, 2016, for the very first time in Russia, NUST MISIS will host the Moscow Mini Maker Faire, the world`s most famous festival of invention, creativity, and resourcefulness.
On May 20th, 2016, NUST MISIS hosted the opening ceremony of the African Student Union. The idea of the Union is to unite all the students from African countries into a united student fraternity.
On May 16th, 2016, NUST MISIS administration met with international students. The main topics of the meeting were overcoming the language barrier and the development of the Center for Russian as a Foreign Language, which includes an increase in study hours, the creation of individual programs for students, and the constant improvement of teaching staff. Additionally, administration fielded questions on the student residence halls’ living conditions, plans for national holiday events, and the development of sports and cultural infrastructure.
