NUST MISIS has improved its position in the U.S. News Best Global Universities by Subject — Materials Science ranking, taking 191st place among the world’s 1,250 leading universities in Materials Science.
NUST MISIS has improved its position in the U.S. News Best Global Universities Rankings, taking 964th overall place among the 74 countries included. In terms of the “International Cooperation” indicator, NUST MISIS took 28th overall place among all the universities participating in the ranking.
NUST MISIS has improved its positions in the QS Emerging Europe & Central Asia Ranking (EECA), rising five positions from 57th to 52nd. For the 5th year in a row, the University has shown positive dynamics by improving its ranking, which is up 20 points since 2014. According to the results of the new ranking, NUST MISIS is now in the top 16% of universities from the 42 countries participating in the ranking.
From October 16th to 19th, 2018, NUST MISIS hosted the 10th annual meeting of the NUST MISIS International Scientific Advisory Council (ISAC), which includes leading scientists from 8 countries representing prestigious universities like Cambridge, Stanford, Technion, and the University of Iowa, among others. Questions on how to improve existing academic programs and develop new programs were the main topics of this year’s meeting.
According to the QS BRICS-2019 Ranking, NUST MISIS has improved by 7 spots, now sitting at 54th among 403 universities participating in the ranking. NUST MISIS has also entered the top 14% of the best universities from the BRICS countries. Over the five years of participating in this ranking, NUST MISIS has shown incredible growth, rising 44 spots since 2014.
