On October 12, 2018, NUST MISIS and Alanya Alaaddin Keykubat University (Alanya, Turkey) signed an agreement on scientific and educational cooperation. This will give an opportunity to students and professors of both universities to participate in international exchange programs, joint projects, scientific seminars and conferences in the fields of metallurgy, materials science, business and tourism.
Scientists from the NUST MISIS Laboratory of Inorganic Nanomaterials together with their international colleagues have proved it possible to change the structural and conductive properties of nanotubes by stretching them. This can potentially expand nanotubes’ application into electronics and high-precision sensors such as microprocessors and high-precision detectors. The research article has been published in Ultramicroscopy.
From October 11th to 14th, 2018, NUST MISIS hosted the second International Congress of Students Organizations (MKSO-2018). More than 300 students from universities in Russia, Portugal, Armenia, China and other countries attended the event.
Craig O`Callaghan, Head of Content at QS, visited #EdCrunch, Europe`s largest international conference on new educational technologies, organized by NUST MISIS and the National Technology Initiative University (University of NTI) “20.35”.
NUST MISIS and Lanit have signed a cooperation agreement. The goal of partnership is to develop mathematical algorithms to implement at metallurgical enterprises as part of the Datana joint project.
